     Term 4, 2011

Week 1, 22/10/2011, Code of Conduct / Rules
Objective: Players to have a good understanding of the Program (the workshop component, basketball, dinner and transport), the people involved (volunteers, tournament manager, youth worker) and to come up with their own rules / code of conduct to take ownership.

Week 2, 29/10/2011, Team Building
Objective: Learn how to work together and respect each other.  Team names.

Week 3, 5/11/2011, Skills And Drills
Objective: To equip participants with a knowledge and understanding of the rules of basketball.
Facilitator: Matthew Skinner, Bankstown Basketball Association

Week 4, 12/11/2011, Anger Management
Objective:  To equip young people with tools and skills to deal with anger management and body image.
Facilitator: Coach Merve Tait, Run Basketball

Week 5, 19/11/2011, Drugs And Alcohol
Objective: Giving young people an understanding of different affects caused by regular use of drugs and alcohol.

Objective: Empower young people with the skills to identify mental health issues.

Week 7, 3/12/2011, Dreaming Is Believing
Objective: To enable young people to develop tools to assist with reaching their goals.

Week 8, 10/12/2011, Player Evaluation
Objective:  All players to complete questionnaire provided by Midnight Basketball Australia for independent evaluation.
