Week 1, 15/10/2010, Code of Conduct / Rules
Objective: Players to have a good understanding of the Program (the workshop component, basketball, dinner and transport), the people involved (volunteers, tournament manager, youth worker) and to come up with their own rules / code of conduct to take ownership.

Week 2, 22/10/2010, Team Building
Objective: Players to learn the importance of team work. Get to know each other. Come up with team name.

Week 3, 29/10/2010, Mental Health
Objective: To give players an understanding of the signs & symptoms of mental illness.

Week 4, 5/10/2010, Healthy Eating
Objective: Players will learn what it means to be healthy, what foods are classified as healthy and how to make the right food choices.

Week 5, 12/11/2010, Aboriginal Culture
Objective: Players will gain an insight into Aboriginal culture around our surrounding area, with geographic display and local knowledge.

Week 6, 19/11/2010, Drugs And Alcohol
Objective: Players will gain an understanding of problems caused by consuming drugs and alcohol.

Week 7, 26/11/2010, Sexual Assault
Objective: To give players an idea of what a sexual assault is and emphasise respect.

Objective: All players to complete questionnaire provided by Midnight Basketball Australia for independent evaluation.

Objective: Understanding local aboriginal culture. Players will increase their awareness of Aboriginal cultural issues.

Week 4, 04/06/2010, Healthy Relationships
Objective: Identifying and maintaining healthy relationships. Players will learn strategies for managing positive and negative relationships including having self-respect.

Week 5, 11/06/2010, Budgetting
Objective: Money management strategies. Players will gain an understanding of money management and savings principles.

Week 6, 18/06/2010, Being Mentally Fit
Objective: Players will learn about mental health issues and services that are available in the local area. Players will gain an understanding of identifying stress and managing it, knowing options for services in the local and online.

Week 7, 25/06/2010, Police Visit
Objective: Players will have the opportunity to interact with Police officers, observe the squad car, learn about legal rights/issues & ask Police questions they may have not had a chance to ask before.

Week 8, 02/07/2010, Player Evaluation / Questionnaire
Objective: All players to complete questionnaire provided by Midnight Basketball Australia for independent evaluation by CIRCA Research for final tournament report.
