Term 4, 2011

Week 1, 22/10/2011, Code of Conduct / Rules
Objective: Players to have a good understanding of the Program (the workshop component, basketball, dinner and transport), the people involved (volunteers, tournament manager, youth worker) and to come up with their own rules / code of conduct to take ownership.

Week 2, 29/10/2011, Team Building
Objective: Players to learn how to work together and respect each other.  Come up with team name.

Week 3, 5/11/2011, Zumba Introduction
Objective: Players to experience fun fitness through dance.
Facilitator:  Claudine Schmidt, Zumba Fitness Plus

Week 4, 12/11/2011, Healthy Relationships
Objective: To help players feel more confident in making decisions that are least likely to have negative consequences.

Week 5, 19/11/2011, Baksetball Skills
Objective:  For beginners to learn new skills, or those who have played before to polish up their game.

Objective:  Taking the time to consider a healthy mind and healthy body without necessarily having to do high cardio workouts.

Week 8, 10/12/2011, Player Survey
Objective:  All players to complete survey provided by Midnight Basketball Australia for independent evaluation.

Objective: Learn how one action or decision can lead to another, and how choice can affect your life.

Objective:  To bond the relationship between local young people and police officers.
